CAPA 10th Anniversary Logo Design Contest
To celebrate CAPA’s 10th anniversary, we invite school-age students to create a unique logo that embodies the spirit, mission, and achievements of CAPA over the past decade.
RULES
1. Theme
The logo should reflect CAPA’s mission of empowering Chinese American/Immigrant communities, celebrating cultural diversity, and fostering inclusivity.
2. Eligibility
Open to school-age students in the following categories:
• Elementary School: Kindergarten to Grade 5
• Middle School: Grade 6 to Grade 8
• High School: Grade 9 to Grade 12
Participants may enter as individuals only. Group entries are not allowed.
3. Design Requirements
• The logo must be original and not infringe on any copyrighted material.
• It should incorporate elements symbolizing “10 years” or “a decade.”
• Designs must work well in both color and black-and-white formats.
• File specifications:
o High resolution (minimum 300 DPI)
o Accepted file formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, or PDF
4. Submission
• Deadline: All submissions must be received by 11:59PM Eastern Time (ET) on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
• Submission instructions:
o Name your file using the following format: LogoContest_YourName.
o Submit your entry via the provided Google Form link.
• Limit: One entry per participant.
5. Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following:
• Creativity and originality.
• Relevance to CAPA’s mission and 10th anniversary theme.
• Visual appeal and overall design quality.
• Versatility, ensuring suitability for use on websites, printed materials, and merchandise.
6. Prizes
• The 1st place winners in each age division will receive a $50 prize.
• The overall winner will receive an additional $50, for a total of $100.
7. Ownership and License
• All submitted designs become the property of CAPA and may be used for promotional purposes.
• CAPA reserves the right to modify the winning logo for production purposes.
• By entering the contest, participants agree to these rules and conditions.
